Real projects · Practical decisions

Technology stories from the field.

Why the project existed, what made it difficult and how Linkify approached the whole system—not just the product in the middle.

Project story 02 · Remote infrastructure

Keeping network sites powered beyond the grid.

Communications infrastructure cannot be dependable if its power system is an afterthought. Linkify operates remote network sites using Victron equipment, solar panels, batteries, monitoring and backup generation.

Some Linkify sites operate entirely from solar power. The experience of running them informs future designs and the practical trade-offs between capacity, resilience, visibility and maintenance.

How Linkify approaches the work

Practical decisions, made around the real site.

Customer names, locations, photographs and results are only published with permission. The work itself always starts with the environment, the constraint and the outcome that matters.

01 · UNDERSTAND

Start with the operating environment.

Location, existing infrastructure, users and service constraints shape the design before a product is selected.

Site before specification
02 · CONNECT

Design the whole service path.

The carrier connection, local network, Wi-Fi, phones, devices and power need to work as one dependable system.

One joined-up design
03 · OPERATE

Plan for what happens after handover.

Testing, monitoring, support and clear ownership are considered as part of delivery—not left as an afterthought.
